Ground Floor – Decoration Students Floor Plan
As part of our graduate mark, we were asked to split into groups and create a concept and design a space for our graduate exhibition to be held at the end of the year. We were to come up with room treatments for both Design and Decoration students, factoring in each of their respective needs in regards to presentation, and also design hallway treatments and a bar area outside. The theme was stretch, and the concept my group came to was Swell.
We designed the space to mimic the sea, maintaining curved lines and gentle shapes. The colour pallette was kept to greys and blues, with some green to contrast.
Whilst our group was not named the winner, our design we ranked highly in the vote.
My group consisted of myself, Holly Davies, Anerys Brotherton-Ford and Joanna Mudge.
